The vase in circular glass from the Crackle collection has an expressive, sculptural exterior created using an old handicraft technique where the hot glass is dipped in ice-cold water. The circular glass that Crackle Circular is made of, makes the products shift in color, and the small bubbles created during the process of making circular glass into a new product, make each vase unique. Glass results from a great many meetings between people, artists, crafts people and lovers of glass.
The artists of Kosta Boda have a decisive role to play in all the creative stages of the process. The cooperation between the designers and the skilled craftspeople is very close; indeed, it is essential if the designers are to transfer their intentions to the glass.
